TESTIMONIAL – SANJANA
I, Sanjana Srinivasan along with Esha Prasad from SSRVM Bangalore North studied in class XII of the batch 2019-20. We had exhibited our model of the James Webb Space Telescope for our class X science exhibition of the academic year 2017-18.
Our school has always given us the opportunities to put forth our talents and passion. It has encouraged us to innovate new ideas. We have our science exhibition held annually where we are given an opportunity to present our passion towards science.
JWST, also known as the successor of the Hubble space telescope is the most powerful space telescope ever built by NASA, ESA and CSA. It is going to help us to understand our universe better by observing the early universe and further back in time.
Recently a post from NASAwebb gave us a chance to share our JWST art. We posted our pictures of the model. We received appreciation from NASA and from an astronomer working on the JWST for the European Space Agency. A day later, NASA asked for our permission to share our pictures through their email. They posted our pictures with the model on their official NASAwebb account.
We want to thank NASA for this opportunity and recognition.
Our school has given us the freedom to think, strengthen our concepts and expand our imagination and creativity. We also practice Sudarshana Kriya on a daily basis which has helped us to explore our inner self and concentrate in our studies better. All of these aspects has motivated us to come up with this model and presentation.
We would like to extend our hearty thanks to Mrs. Rekha L Shastry, Mrs. Vijeta Iyer, Mrs. Arpita Saha, Mrs. Namitha Shankar, Mrs. Nisha Gopal and all our teaching and non-teaching staff for their enthusiastic encouragement towards this project. We would like to express our immense gratitude to our beloved principal Mrs. Mamatha Raviprakash for her moral support. We whole heartedly thank our Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankarji for his blessings which has been the main factor for our success.
Thank you! – Sanjana Srinivasan Std XII (2019-20)
